EnrolmentThe assessor will enrol the candidate. The assessor will ask about candidate goals. An assessment timetable is planned. Documents and QualificationsDocuments are checked to see workplace skills and knowledge. Credits may be given for previous qualifications. Documents used should maintain client privacy. Skills and Knowledge YarnThe assessor yarns with the candidate about industry skills and knowledge. Questions are used to start the yarn. The assessor keeps notes of the yarn. Workplace ReportThe workplace is provided information on Recognition Assessment. A workplace supervisor is asked what industry tasks the candidate does in their job. Observing Practical SkillsThe assessor will visit the workplace to watch the candidate doing industry tasks. At least two workplace tasks will be done by candidate. Qualifications IssuedCertificate for full or part completion of qualification is issued. A record of any further training required to complete a full qualification is given to the candidate. FeedbackCandidate is asked for feedback on the Recognition Assessment. Workplace is asked for feedback on the Recognition Assessment. Other InformationThe assessment process involves a number of meetings or visits. The candidate, the assessor and the workplace supervisor will have documents to sign. All the records for a Recognition Assessment have to be stored. |
